+ + + THE LAST WAVE + + +

April 5th, 2012 I will be presenting a whole new body of work, installation projects, and collaborations at Seattle’s Flatcolor Gallery for my solo show The Last Wave.

I will be doing a lot of updates with new work, new projects and a deeper explanation behind my new aesthetic and title meaning which will more than make up from my hiatus from artwork and blog posting. It feels good to be back in the game:

“Savior’s Day” 2012

“Gator Play your Records for Me” 2012

“The Last Temptation of Julius” 2012

Lots more to come.

The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom

A few weeks ago my friends at The Academy brought me in to produce and illustrate a poster for the Sundance favorite and now Academy Award-nominated documentary “The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom” directed by Lucy Walker (Waste Land, Countdown to Zero). Have a watch of the preview of the powerful documentary about the resilience of the cherry blossom tree amidst natural disaster and the Japanese national spirit.
